Lisa joined CFI in Fall 2022 as our Craft & Storyteller Tea Leader. Lisa brings 20 years of experience as a K - 8 art teacher to the Meadow and she especially enjoys the enthusiasm and wonder the youngest learners bring to the classroom. Lisa was raised in Connecticut but after coming to California for college considers the Golden State her home. Outside of school, her interests include making art, visiting museums, cooking and fostering rescue puppies. She is the mother of three almost-grown children, and can be found on many weekends watching her two boys play lacrosse.

 

Memorable family tradition?

When anyone in our family goes on a long trip (including sleepaway camp), we decorate the front door to greet them when they return. In addition to welcome messages, we have made construction paper images of Machu Picchu, Big Ben, NYC and many tents and campfires!
